Music-Hall Casino

The main location for the WBSO´s concerts is the concert hall in the Municipal House “Casino” in Marienbad, also known as the “Marble Hall”.  The Casino was built in the Italian Neo-Renaissance style between the years 1899-1901.  From its very beginnings it was the center of cultural life in the city and the orchestra has always called it home.  The unique accoustics in the hall allow the medium-sized WBSO to perform works that are usually reserved for orchestras that are twice its size.  The hall, which can seat up to 500 people is in the care of Léčené Lázně Mariánské Lázně a.s.
